SHAPE OPENING NIGHT GALA
CNW / TORONTO ... Jan. 16 2003 Tonight, SHAPE officially hits the Toronto scene as the city's first truly boutique health and wellness centre. SHAPE, located at Avenue and Davenport, is dedicated to revolutionizing people's lives. The facility's personalized integrated approach to enhancing your lifestyle is like no other. After some time at SHAPE, you will probably look, eat, sleep and think better. You will, no doubt, feel better. The highlight of the opening night gala will be a presentation of an enormous pile of toys and donations to The Hospital for Sick Children. Michael Seccareccia, a young boy who fought courageously and won his battle with cancer and was able to return to playing competitive hockey, will accept the donations on behalf of the hospital. His coach recently said "he's playing like the strongest kid out there". Michael worked on his strength and conditioning with Dr. Sender Deutsch, one of SHAPE's founders, in order to help ward off the disease. All of SHAPE's guests have been asked to bring an unwrapped toy or donation with them in exchange for a SHAPE treatment teaser. This evening during a limited preview of the facility, Deutsch stated "I am blown away as to how it has all come together with such a polished boutique feel. I always knew that the treatments would be provided at the highest quality level and now see that every physical detail at SHAPE matches that level." Jonathan Ruben, SHAPE's other founder, agrees. "We had set the bar quite high for ourselves but the final product has far surpassed that. I predict that SHAPE will be the standard by which others will be measured. The look of the facility will not disappoint. The health care providers, trainers, instructors and practitioners are amongst the best in the city. Toronto will adore the ambience, the service and the value." |
