2008 Jan. 16 SHAPE 2 Grand Opening Gala
ONTARIO DESK: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – JANUARY 16, 2008

TORONTO --- Tomorrow night, SHAPE officially spreads its reach across Toronto as the city’s only truly integrated boutique health and wellness centre launches a brand new facility at Leslie and York Mills to build on its success, 5 years to the day since opening the doors at its Avenue and Davenport flagship location. SHAPE is dedicated to revolutionizing people's lives and the new uptown facility has revolutionized and upped the ante for design of both health centres and gyms alike, with oversized skylights 18 feet above your workout mat, leather couches and exotic woods.

A new standard for the Toronto wellness and fitness industries has been set, as according to clinic director and co-founder Dr. Sender Deutsch, “SHAPE personalizes and integrates treatment from a multitude of disciplines to enhance your quality of life in a one-stop intimate environment”. Jonathan Ruben, the centres’ other founder added that “now with two stunning locations, Torontonians who live in the core as well as those at the north end of the city can easily access and benefit from SHAPE’s upscale luxury and highly talented team of personal trainers and health practitioners”.

Partnering with Princess Margaret Hospital and their Conquering Cancer project, SHAPE’s gala festivities will raise funds and awareness for cancer research from a silent auction, private and corporate donations, as well as a portion of the proceeds from every treatment this month.

SHAPE would like to extend an open invitation to members of the community to join in the celebration Thursday, January 17th at 8 pm, at the grand opening of the Leslie and York Mills location (35 Coldwater Road). Canada AM’s host Seamus O’Regan, will MC the event and, along with a live band, cocktails and delicious food, will help support a most worthy cause.
