  • Originally came to SHAPE in October 2005 with low back pain
  • Was in generally good shape
Goals:

SHAPE Treatment Plan:
  • High Performance Personal Training twice a week at SHAPE and one at home following a personalized training program
  • One to two 30 minute outdoor runs per week
  • Integrated Therapy and Training when needed

CHEST, BACK, SHOULDERS
  • Pyramid Based Resistance training utilizing strength, endurance and cardiovascular abilities of all targeted muscles
  • Full body dynamic warm-up
  • Core muscle stabilization addressed as well as integrated into the full-body movements
  • Anaerobic training through body movements were utilized too
LEGS, TRICEPS, BICEPS
  • Pyramid Based Resistance training utilizing strength, endurance and cardiovascular abilities of all targeted muscles
  • Aerobic training to increase cardiovascular fitness
  • Plyo-metric training utilized to increase ballistic power of body muscles
  • Full body dynamic warm-up
  • Core muscle stabilization addressed as well as integrated into the full-body movements
